DeLoach California Pinot Noir * 2021

Bright red fruit notes are expressed on the nose with a whisper of spice. The herbacious balance in this Pinot Noir is paired with juicy raspberry and strawberry flavors that lift and coat the palate making way for a long and lingering finish.

After a few challenging years, 2021 was remarkably without fire or smoke during harvest and void of long, lingering heatwaves, allowing the grapes in our cooler Russian River AVA to ripen at their regular rate. While the yield was slightly lighter to average due to a variety of water conservation efforts, the 2021 vintage is showing exceptional flavors – ripe, intense, and fruit forward – with a much better balance than in past years.
